The Boys of Boise 1955
Alex Vigue
It’s the sound of wind kissing
juniper trees in the park,
it’s a lighthouse cop
hunting to catch carnality
& bind it in metal
I am conceived in these
circumstances, a fledgling
dribble or spit pine seed,
earth drinker,
semen missed by a stranger
to be consumed by
the shared roots &
mycelium of drag mother nature
pheromones of fear
cruising in Idaho
gnawing at branches,
gnawing at the rule of an unjust law
the men have swallowed
their own arms
and I am born of this fellating,
a child of “Infamous crimes
against nature.”
Six years probation
Ten years in prison
Five years in prison
Seven years in prison. Loses
appeal to the Idaho supreme court

appeal to the Idaho supreme court
